When you work several hours of the day outside your home you must feel irritated and uneasy leaving all your important things behind all the time. Your home is never safe unless you are certain you live in a neighborhood that is considered very safe. The number of house robberies that happen in the USA alone increases every year. In the year 2006 it was about 447,403 house robberies. A lot of people become bankrupt and lost a lot of their important documents including their passports, wallets and credit cards.
Ask your self, where do you feel your important things are safer, at home or in your office? It really depends on the amount of time you spend in each place. If you are home most of the time then there is nothing to worry about. A really good idea would be to have a wall safe in both your office and your home. It is also important to consider the place where you want your safe to be positioned. Don’t forget that it must be kept a secret or at least in a good hiding spot.
You should have something hung on your office wall like a portrait of someone you admire or a painting and behind it would be the perfect place for a wall safe. The most important thing though is that no one knows about it. If it isn’t a secret and someone specific knows about it then the first place they will check would be behind the wall picture. There are not many places to look anyway. It depends on how large your office is, if it’s a really large one then you will have more hiding places for it. One really good hiding spot would be in a closet somewhere, if you have a large office with a closet, or any other extra room, it would be a great idea to place the wall safe there.
